Beneath the light-eating matte finish, the solid basswood body lays down a stable foundation with a clear mid-range accent. The Canadian maple neck has also been roasted to remove excess moisture, boosting the density of the wood to increase resonance and limit the chance of warping and, when it comes to playability, the modern C-profile and 9.5 inch fretboard radius guarantee a snug feel in the fret-hand all the way up the neck. To finish, this no-nonsense workhorse comes mounted with a solid, fixed bridge and the control section has been stripped right back to a single volume pot and three-way switch
