The absolute flagship model from the new and improved Majesty Series by Music Man and John Petrucci is this Tiger Eye. It shouldn't be hard to tell they've taken that name from the beautifully shaped, flamed maple top that seamlessly crosses over into the ebony covered neck. The neck itself consists of three pieces of Honduras mahogany and maple while the guitar is finished with glossy polyester lacquer. Its sound comes from two DiMarzio humbuckers, specially designed by the Dream Theatre guitarist: there's a Rainmaker at the neck and a Dreamcatcher at the bridge. A special Piëzo pickup under the floating tremolo allows for even more flavours, and thanks to the Custom Music Man, you've got a preamplifier with a push/push potmeter for a 20 dB boost. The included case makes sure your guitar remains in mint condition.
