Fresh off the hook, the Hellraiser Series C-VI Baritone from Schecter shows that a 30" electric baritone guitar isn't just for tic-tac bass, new wave melodies and offset surf guitarists. The two active EMG humbuckers in the neck and bridge position ensure maximum tonal presence in louder styles, while the extended range of this deep-diving six-string is tuned a full octave lower than a standard guitar, beefing up regular guitar riffs and even chords.

The Hellraiser C-VI Baritone: Humbucker & Single-Coil Output

Even without the standard tuning of an electric guitar, this Schecter Bass Baritone easily stands its ground. For tight rhythm parts, you're set up with an 81TW bridge humbucker, and for those rounded out double-coil sounds, the C-VI has been rigged with an 89R neck pickup. That's not say you don't have access to single-coil tone though: simply hit one of the two push/pull volume pots to drop one of the humbuckers into single-coil mode, then flip the pickup switch and tweak the tone pot to discover another wide spectrum of sounds.

Comfortable Contours and Stable Hardware

The Hellraiser C-VI has several aesthetic features that mark it out as a satisfyingly fresh 30-inch baritone guitar. Besides the classic round shapes and beautiful contours, it's the Black Cherry finish and the premium, part-abalone binding that add to the overall majestic vibe of this Schecter.
