That's why Gambale decided to equip his Cort Signature model with the L.R. Braggs Element Active System. This system is able to pick up even the smallest vibrations on the body so you get a sound with a wider dynamic range, allowing all of the nuances in your playing to shine through. The system also has a minimilistic design so that there's less chance of it interfering with the natural sound properties of the instrument.

Visual beauty

The Cort LUXE has a solid Adirondack spruce top with a back and sides made of flamed blackwood. The Adirondack comes from New York state while the blackwood comes from Australia. Blackwood is similar to mahogany and has a bright accent. The neck is made of mahogany and has an ebony fretboard that features 20 frets and has stunning mother of pearl inlays. There are matching design details at the bridge and in the decoration on the headstock. Everything is finished with a natural-coloured high-gloss lacquer for an instrument that looks every bit as good as it sounds.
