Contrary to traditional acoustic guitars, the Dimavery OV500 has no sound hole in the middle of its body. Instead, it features several smaller holes that help the OV 500 produce a tight, clear and sparkling sound. This solid guitar has a curved back and a deep cutaway. Thanks to the built-in piezo pickup you can use this steel-string guitar both amplified and acoustically.

The Dimavery OV 500: Beautiful Finish and High Build Quality

The top of the OV-500 is made of agathis and the sides and back are of a single piece of synthetic material. The neck is made of maple and the fretboard of rosewood. The combination of these wood types and the synthetic material provides the OV-500 with its distinctive sound. Additionally, the top brandishes a beautiful red flamed maple motif, while the sound holes are adorned with beautiful autumn-leaf inlays.

Piezo pickup and preamp with three-band EQ and Presence

The electric bits of the OV 500 include a built-in piezo pickup and a preamp with three-band EQ and presence control mounted at the side of the body. The practical battery check function quickly shows you whether the battery needs replacing.
