By combining a magnetic, piezo and sensor pickup, this hybrid game-changer harnesses the power of SIRS tech and the Fishman-and-Fender developed Acoustic Engine to flip through ten entirely different body-shapes and tonewood combos. Find your preferred setup via the selector switch and tweak the blend pot to call up classic electric as well as acoustic profiles. The ultimate sonic Swiss Army knife for the modern musician, the Acoustasonic Player Telecaster comes complete with a Fender Deluxe 1225 gig bag.
The Acoustasonic Telecaster: Smart Design
The mahogany back and sides of the Acoustasonic Telecaster have been topped with a solid Sitka spruce soundboard, finishing a versatile acoustic foundation. In terms of playability, the channel-bound ebony fretboard has been finished with a 12 inch radius and loaded with a set of twenty-two narrow-tall frets, all of which combines with the Modern Deep-C neck profile for a light and agile playing feel. The nut as well as the bridge pins have been provided by Graph Tech and made from TUSQ to ensure maximum resonance and stable tuning, and finishing in style, every inch of this cleverly designed model has been given a coat of butter-smooth satin-gloss.
High-Grade American Tone
While the mahogany neck is bolted on, the Acoustasonic Telecaster is a flat-top hollow-body, giving round, delicious sound even when unplugged. As the name suggests, the innovative American Acoustasonic Telecaster is built in Fender's factory in Corona, California.
