Here, Fender fit it with a Strat-style C-profile neck complete with 6-in-line headstock and call it the Newporter Classic. The flatter 15.75-inch radius of the pau ferro fretboard further supports the snug playing comfort this electro-acoustic has to offer by accommodating supple note bends and fast riffs. The classic Fender headstock and linear machine heads are certainly a little alien to an acoustic model but don't just look pretty - they're what give this guitar its enhanced tuning stability.
