Tight playability backed up by big amplified sound, the all-solid parlor body of this outstanding Fender Paramount Series electro-acoustic boasts more power than you'd expect. The PS-220E steel-string has a solid Sitka spruce top and a solid ovangkol body, which combine with re-designed X-bracing to lay down a sweet and woody, organic acoustic foundation packed with rich resonance, rounded trebles and a few extra mids. This uncompromising acoustic guitar comes complete with a deluxe black hardshell case.
The Fender PS-220E Electro-Acoustic: Natural & Inspired
The amplified sound of the PS-220E is just as natural as the acoustic sound thanks to the collaborative Fender and Fishman designed electronics. The newly developed Sonitone Plus Soundhole Pickup System combines an undersaddle piezo pickup with a body-sensing pickup mounted beneath the solid soundboard, the output and volume of which can be balanced via the discreet blend and volume control pots fitted just inside the soundhole. To finish, your fret-hand is treated to the familiar feel of a C-profile neck and a smooth satin-gloss finish, completing a trusty, Fender-grade performance partner.
