Martin Guitars HD7 Roger McGuinn guitarra electroacústica
General
The Martin HD7 Roger McGuinn is a 7-string electro-acoustic steel-string guitar. It has a double g string, one of which is tuned an octave higher, for a sound similar to that of a 12-string guitar, but with the comfort and playability of a 6-string model. If you're looking for a guitar with a unique sound, that's exactly what you get from the HD7.
Roger McGuinn
Roger McGuinn has had a career spanning more than 45 years in the folk rock and country rock music scenes. As frontman in the band The Byrds, he is one of the most respected musicians in his genre. As a true pioneer, he has been at the forefront during the development of this unique 7-string electro-acoustic guitar. It's equipped with a top-quality Fishman Matrix Infinity preamplifier with volume and tone controls that are cleverly hidden in the sound hole. This flagship Fishman preamp guarantees a bright, transparent tone with a highly dynamic string response.
HD7: top-quality
The Martin HD7 Roger McGuinn has everything you'd expect from a true American guitar by Martin. Its rich sound palette begins with its solid sitka Canadian spruce top which adds brightness and clarity. The back and sides are made of solid East Indian rosewood for a touch of warmth and powerful projection. More warmth, depth and fullness is provided by the Spanish cedar used for the neck which features a modified V profile. Finally, the solid African black ebony on the fretboard and the bridge complete the sound by adding extra tightness. Considering that it is constructed using the world's best wood types, it should really come as no surprise that the Martin HD7 is an electro-acoustic guitar of the highest quality.
Martin
The legendary C.F. Martin & Company have been building top-quality string instruments since 1833. Greats like Eric Clapton, Keith Richards & John Mayer have all played instruments by Martin. Over the years, the brand has maintained very high standards in the appearance, tone and playability of their products. This family-run company has introduced many of the features that have now become standard on many steel-string acoustic guitars, including scalloped bracing and the Dreadnought body. The Martin HD7 Roger McQuinn is another prime example of Martin's high standards.
