The versatile Sire R7GS offers rich and resonant acoustic sound shaped by an all-solid and comfortably slim auditorium body shape. The solid rosewood back and sides of the resonant chamber are topped by solid spruce, fitted with a mahogany neck and mounted with a sumptuously dark ebony bridge. Both the string nut and saddle are made of bone for optimal tonal transfer and an unmounted scratchplate comes included so that it can be installed only if actually required.

The R7GS: Amplified Sound Simply Dialed In

To amplify its fullness of sound, the R7GS comes prefitted with an undersaddle piëzo that sits between the saddle and bridge and an internal microphone in the resonant chamber. Balance between the two is simply struck using the specially developed Zebra 7 preamplification system. Create a foundation mix using the blend pot then tweak the result using the EQ Searcher pot to find that personal sweet spot and use the volume control to hit the right level. It's genuinely that simple.
