The outstanding Guild A-150 Savoy Black is a hollow-body semi-acoustic guitar that will surprise even experienced guitarists with its warm sound and beautiful design. Guild combined their 1950s hollow-body orchestra model with an arched DeArmond Rhythm Chief 1000 pickup to create this beauty, and because the pickup is mounted in the neck (not the body) this guitar has a very unique timbre.

Each and every guitar in the Newark St. Collection is based on instruments from Guild Guitars' rich history. As such, they look just like the originals on which they're based, for a classy '50s or '60s vibe. The warm, rich, bright core sound of the A-150 Savoy is created by a solid arched spruce top. The neck also adds a lot to the great sound quality, thanks to the strong 3-ply mahogany and maple design.
