The AAD100 is part of a redesigned series of acoustic Ibanez Advanced Series guitars. Roughly 5% bigger than a standard dreadnought, this grand-dreadnought model offers players extremely dynamic, rich and powerful sound alongside enhanced playing comfort. Thanks to special X-M bracing and a scalloped ovangkol bridge, you're assured of optimal vibrational transference, improved response, more dynamics and a lightly-scooped foundation sound.
The AAD100: Stable, Comfortable & Easy-Going
It's the okoume used for the back and sides that lends full mid-range presence to the overall sound, while the Thermo-Aged nyatoh neck not only adds warmth but reinforces and stabilises the build. On top of that, the AAD100 features a Low Oval Grip profile for that satisfying feel and eased chord-grabbing; ergonomic, rounded ovangkol fretboard edges; and special Advantage bridge pins for the finishing touch.
