Shure's Beta series should be treated with due respect as its products are of high quality, thanks to the used components, engineering and housing that protects them from outside influences. The microphone in this wireless system is equipped with a pneumatic shockmount that counters handling noise. The built-in pop filter ensures that you won't be bothered by breathing and wind noises. This H5 version operates on frequency band H5, which is mainly fit for use in Belgium.

Pickup pattern
The cardioid pickup pattern ensures that feedback is countered, which results in a clear sound without any annoying background noises. In combination with the SLX2, this Beta 87C also offers the advantages of wireless microphone systems. If you add the SLX4, an automatic connection is made. This makes installing the set very easy: connect it and go!

Beta 87C or 87A?
The difference between the Beta 87A and 87C is the pickup pattern: the Beta 87A has a super-cardioid pickup pattern, whereas the 87C has a cardioid pattern. Chances therefore are that the 87A will suffer less feedback, but the user will have to sing straight into the microphone as sound from the sides is not picked up. The 87C does not require such expertise, but it is a little more sensitive to feedback.
