Sennheiser XSW-D LAVALIER SET wireless lavalier microphone system

General
Sennheiser's XSW-D XLR Lavalier Set is a wireless system that couldn't be any easier to use. Simply plug the transmitter into the included ME2-II lavalier microphone, the receiver directly into a mixer and you're good to go! The system works on the 2.4 GHz frequency band which means it can be used anywhere in the world without a permit.
Features
Channel management is fully automatic, so you won't have to do a thing with this. Every XSW-D set can easily be put on mute too, from both the transmitter and the receiver. If you want to pair the transmitter with another receiver, that can be done with the simple press of a button. A fully charged set will last up to 5 hours, but if that's not enough, the transmitter and receiver can be charged while they're being used, even with a power bank. In the event of interference, the XSW-D set will automatically transfer itself to another channel. Lastly, thanks to the aptX protocol, you'll enjoy uncompromising, digital sound quality without any noticeable latency.

Sennheiser is always going to be a quality product. This Lavalier set is just that. The lapel microphone has the correct sensitivity, excellent frequency spectrum and simple clarity.
The Tx/Rx units are light, compact and foolproof. No dropouts experienced in our 30m test and 4+ hours of battery life.
But the main benefit was that every wireless microphone system always suffers a small amount of inherent noise. Sometimes a buzz or rumble. But not theses Sennheisers. Rumble and buzz free. We have used them attached to both an outside broadcast camera and an inside audio interface and the track was near perfect. Neither EQ nor compressor was needed. So we got what we had hoped for. Their reputation is well justified.
