With the Satellite, Samson introduce a fully-grown USB/iOS microphone at a highly generous price. This broadcast mic can record in a maximum resolution of 96kHz and the 'direct monitoring' feature means a set of headphones can be directly connected to the mic, avoiding any latency during recording sessions. Two high-quality 16mm condenser capsules are fitted for the perfect balance of warmth and clarity while a smart internal shock-mount isolates the capsules from the outer body to keep any contact and handling noise to an absolute minimum. The pickup-pattern selection switch is another incredibly useful detail and offers the choice of an omni-directional, cardioid or figure-8 pattern, so whether it's being used by a vlogger or singer-songwriter, the Satellite is already set up.
