General
Recording speech, vocals or acoustic instruments becomes easier than one-two-three with the Shure MV51 digital condenser microphone. This unique unit is surprisingly flexible, meaning it can be with in combination with a Mac or Windows computer, an iPhone or an iPad, or even an iPod. Conveniently modern, the MV51 has been loaded with five DSP mic presets so all you have to do after plugging it in is download the right software and start recording.
The Shure MV51: High Quality and Convenience Combined & ShurePlus Motiv Mobile App
For the MV51, Shure have combined several conventionally separate components into one, meaning it features a built-in audio interface capable of 24-bit/48 kHz audio quality and comes with a special iOS app: ShurePlus Motiv Mobile. When connected to your MV51, the app automatically recognises the microphone and allows you to change settings as needed to guarantee professional audio quality. On top of that, the Motiv Mobile app offers various EQs, compressors and effects for even better results.
