The Remo Emperors were introduces in the 1960s and have become a staple of pop music history, with their characteristic snare drum sound being used on a veritable plethora of classic albums. This Remo VE-0116-00 is a 16-inch Vintage Emperor Coated batter head.
Remo VE-0116-00 16-inch Vintage Emperor Coated
The Vintage Emperors sound just like those original Emperor heads, and consist of two plies of 7.5-mil-thick polyester film with a coating for a warmer sound. It offers a beautifully bright tone with medium sustain. This particular 16-inch model also emphasises the mid and low frequencies. It's a great all-rounder and offers a highly balanced playing feel.

Zeer goed vel. Mooi afgewerkt zoals altijd bij Remo. Klinkt heel goed. Ideaal voor pop/rock. Het vel heeft genoeg punch/attack en power maar heeft ook een lange sustain. Gaat ook nog eens lang mee. Deze vellen klinken ten opzichte van de (gewone Emperor) clear vellen wat 'warmer'. Aanrader!
Goed vel. Warme klank, en gaat wat langer mee dan de Ambassador. Breed inzetbaar door een universeel bruikbare klank. Zeker een aanrader.
Mooie vellen, mooie klank en weinig overtonen!!!
