Taking tremolo to places its never been before, the Caroline Guitar Company Parabola basically tears up the tremolo rule book and doesn't even bother rewriting it. In amplitude modulation mode, this stompbox still comes packed with all the transistor-based tremolos you know and love, but when the mini-switch is flipped from AM to FM, you gain a second set of flavours shaped by filtered modulation. All of this is based on that West German effect that's sought after by the genuine connoisseurs but, since the Parabola does things very differently, as soon as you hit and hold the Havoc switch, the tremolo depth and speed is gradually dialled up for an extreme swell-like effect that can blow even the most resistant pair of socks off.
