Maybe you're already familiar with the Fuzz Factory: a mind-bogglingly unique fuzz stompbox that rewrote the book on what fuzz can do. To build the foundation of the Z.Vex Fuzz Probe, the guts of the much-loved Z.Vex Fuzz Factory were ripped out, tweaked, and then a footplate with a proximity sensor was slapped on top (very carefully). This very special plate is your real-time Stab (also known as feedback pitch) manipulation tool, taking this already awesome concept and launching it into the fuzzy sonic stratosphere!

The founder of Z-Vex Effects, Zachary Vex, is no stranger to the land of innovative effect building - in fact he's renowned. By mounting one of these hand-painted stompboxes onto your board, you're joining forces with the many revered guitarists who have done it before you. Each pedal has been handmade by Zachary's self-appointed elves (so he says), and while these hand-painted editions are much sought after, you can also get your grubby mitts on the same sound quality from the screen-printed Vexter Series pedals for a little less cash.
