MPS20: PC3 sound selection
The MPS20 has 200 carefully-selected factory preset sounds that come from the renowned PC3 series. There are no fewer than 24 piano presets as well as numerous electric pianos, clavinets and organs. There are characteristic Kurzweil orchestral sounds too including strings, brass and wind instruments. Completing the list are various synths, pads, guitars and drum sounds.
LK40 GH+ keyboard
Kurzweil's MPS20 features the LK40 GH+ Graded Hammer 'Escapement' Action keyboard which is just as fancy as its name makes it sound. The hammer weight is split into four zones with the lower notes being heavier than the higher ones. The 'escapement' part of the name refers to the way the keys react giving them the feel of a real acoustic piano. If you're looking for a top-quality digital piano for studio or stage, the MPS20 is a great choice.
