A china with jingles might sound a little strange, but the result is surprisingly awesome. The GX-10FCH-J is a Filter China with three jingles attached to it. Like most cymbals in Meinl's experimental Generation X series, this 10-inch cymbal is made of their special FX9 alloy, which is a mix of copper, zinc, manganese and aluminium, guaranteeing optimal durability and tonal consistency.

This Filter China has a very distinct sound. Because of its moderate size, the undertones it produces are not too heavy, and it's not exceedingly loud. Instead, this china has a crisp sound with a shimmering, slightly rattling sustain. This is partly thanks to the jingles, which give the china a unique character. As its sound is not too extreme, this special cymbal blends in with a wide variety of drum kits, while still offering a distinct character and a unique addition to your tonal palette.
