German cymbal manufacturer Meinl has a number of different series on offer, one of which is the Soundcaster Custom line, which exists of cymbals aimed at professional musicians. The SC18MC-B is a crash cymbal of medium weight with an 18-inch diameter, and is created through a computerised, machine-driven process. Thanks to accurate, laser-guided techniques, the result is a consistent, stable cymbal with a well-balanced sound.

The crash features a brilliant finish, which means that it was polished to a shine, giving it a fantastic look and adding some brilliance to the sound, as well. The fact that this Medium Crash sounds rich and warm as well as bright, is partly thanks to the B12 bronze alloy that it is made of.
