If you're interested in Komplete, but your budget doesn't currently stretch to one of the more comprehensive versions, Komplete 12 Select has more than enough Kontakt libraries, virtual synths and effects to get you started. What's more, you can easily upgrade to the Standard or Ultimate versions whenever your budget allows. Select includes Kontakt Player and Reaktor Player that let you play sounds from diverse libraries and synths, respectively. Kontact libraries include organs, percussions, pianos and synths. You also get the popular algorithmic synthesizer known as Massive with which you can conjure up a wide range of synthetic sounds.

Flinke korting als je toch al van plan was een aantal van de inbegrepen producten te kopen. Bij zo'n 3 plugins heb je al bespaard. Ik ben er erg tevreden mee. Het is een mooie aanvulling op Komplete Start (gratis) en een goede opstap voor Komplete 12 (standaard) ivm upgrade kortingen. Massive, Solid Bus Comp en Replika zijn sinds de aanschaf van Komplete 12 Select samen met de samples uit de expansion packs in al mijn producties terug te vinden. Monark, Vintage Organs, Rickenbacker Bass, Mark I en Retro Machines MK2 zijn ook aanraders. Naar verwachting ga je na aanschaf van dit pakket wel upgraden naar de full version, niet dat je aan select niet genoeg hebt maar zodra je de NI smaak te pakken hebt, smaakt het naar meer.
Zit wel nuttige geluiden tussen maar over het algemeen zou ik zeggen ga voor de gratis versie (zie hun site) en koop losse instrumenten via derde partijen of koop een groter pakket, want deze selectie kan je niet gigantisch veel mee.
Niet te duur voor wat je krijgt! Met de selectie van sounds en plugins kan je in elk genre wel te werk gaan.
Topselectie van Native Instruments VSTs. Echt een aanrader wanneer je gewoon een goede startset van VSTs wil hebben, maar niet teveel geld wil uitgeven.

Instappen in Komplete voor minder dan 200 euro. Prachtige, levendige sounds.. Niet voor niets werken al die movie- en game scoring gasten in LA met deze libraries... Ga maar eens kijken op Instagram wat ze hebben lopen en welke controller ze hebben staan! ;-) Straks met m'n vakantiegeld upgraden naar de full version (voor minder dan 400 euro)... Ik ben een blij mensch!
