General

The JBL PRX 7 Power System is a set of active speakers that you can use for both large halls and small outdoor events. This powerful PA system is comprised of two PRX735 three-way active speakers and two PRX718XLF 18-inch subwoofers that work together to create high sound pressure levels while safeguarding tonal quality. Thanks to their class-D amplifiers, these speakers are relatively light of weight, making this an ideal set for mobile setups. It is the perfect PA set for venues with audiences of up to 600 people.

PRX 7 Power: powerful, detailed sound

The JBL PRX7 Power speaker set is immensely powerful yet able to exert it with great finesse thanks to the PRX735. The PRX735 is a three-way speaker that is equipped with a 1.5-inch tweeter, a 15-inch woofer and a 6.5-inch horn-loaded mid-tone driver. Together, they allow vocals and speech to cut through the mix - which is great for intelligibility. Thanks to its highly accurate projection this speaker is great for 'acoustically challenged' rooms.

Transportation

Both the satellites and the subwoofers in this set are relatively light of weight thanks to their built-in Crown class-D amplifiers - a very efficient type of amp that no longer has need for heavy cooling fins, keeping their weight at a minimum. The speakers’ rugged housing is made of 25mm and 18mm thick poplar covered with a DuraFlex finish (making sure these speakers can take a hit) and their drivers are protected by a rugged metal grill - features that ensure a safe and easy, care-free transport.
