Even if you're convinced your studio monitors are perfectly level, there's a pretty good chance that they are not. Your monitor outputs may be straight as an arrow, but the audio that reaches your ears may not be. The fact is, a good monitor can only function as good as the space it's in, and IK Multimedia's ARC System 2.5 with MEMS microphone will tackle any audio issues you may have with excellent results.

What does the ARC System 2.5 do?

After positioning the measuring microphone, the ARC-software on your computer will take over and determine what the audio profile of your studio space is. It will then implement an inverse multi-band equalizer, and the resulting audio is more balanced and level than anything a human set of ears could do. Although this product is designed for small-scale (hobby) studios, larger studios can also benefit from the ARC system's calibration possibilities.
