Korg's Pa4X series consists of highly respectable arranger keyboards, chockful of high-quality sounds and top-grade styles. With the Pa4X 61 Musikant, Korg has added a rather remarkable arranger keyboard to the bunch. Technologically, it's similar to the regular Pa4X models, but the German word Musikant reveals the true nature of this machine. That's right, this Korg keyboard caters to those entertainers who don't mind a bit of schmaltzy German merriment. Schlager music is a typical form of German music, characterised by poppy tunes and sweet, sentimental lyrics. It also happens to be the exact thing this instrument was made for. Characteristics of the Korg Pa4X 61 Musikant
Like the regular Pa4X models, this keyboard is a virtually inexhaustible source of sounds. There are more than 1800 to choose from, including a stereo piano, GM/XG sounds and 100 drum kits. Additionally, you have a 400MB sample memory that allows you to import your own sounds. Do you regularly perform at parties, accompanying yourself on keyboard while you sing? Store a background chorus on the Korg Musikant, and you'll have optimal mobility and flexibility, without sacrificing any musicality. Additional possibilities
It’s impossible to list all of the Korg Pa4X’s many features in a single paragraph, but we would like to point out a few highlights. MP3 and MIDI files can be easily played back. It’s even possible to play back two files simultaneously, in which case a crossfader determines the balance between the two. In addition to a collection of great sounds and the option to import your own samples - which basically makes this a timeless instrument - you get a number of fantastic effects. Renowned names like TC-Helicon and Waves should tell you all you need to know. Accompany your own singing, for instance, while the Pa4X creates a nice vocal harmony and enhances your intonation. In the meantime, allow Waves to take charge of mastering - it’ll add a professional touch to your performance.
