The Meinl FX10E percussion pedal is a great companion for the performing percussionist. If you need an extra cowbell, bass drum or tambourine, you can now play those with your foot, leaving your hands free to play intricate rhythmic patterns on a cajon or conga, for instance.

This large, throttle-style percussion pedal looks like a guitar player's volume pedal. The Meinl FX10E has 10 sounds on board, which can be selected with the sound select button on the right side of the pedal, and activated with the footboard. The metal housing has oak side panels and on top you'll find an LCD display that will show you which effect is currently selected. On the back of this percussion pedal you'll find both stereo and mono outputs, a volume knob and a connector for the included power adapter. Finally, the bottom features a removable metal plate with spikes for extra grip.

Sounds

Most of the effects on this Meinl FX10E percussion pedal will produce a single sound when you press the pedal. However, some effects - such as the Double Tambourine and Double Cabasa - will produce one sound when you press down on the pedal, and another when you release it. Finally, because it has realistic, clean and short sounds without any effects or reverb, the sound technician won't have a hard time working with the FX10E, granting you a multitude of extra instruments when you're on stage.
