Echt onder de indruk van deze monitoren! Ze leveren goed veel detail, elke partij is goed te horen en volgen. De bas gaat heel wat dieper dan ik eigenlijk verwacht had, en blijft goed gecontroleerd en strak. Heel tevreden met de keuze, een aanrader!
Ik was op zoek naar een compacte monitor voor mijn (helaas) kleine homestudio. Ik heb goede ervaringen met de HiFi luidsprekers van Focal. Deze monitor biedt dezelfde neutrale onverhulde weergave als zijn grotere broers. Mijn enige zorg was de basweergave; deze model 50 gaat op papier iets minder diep, door de kleinere woofer en lager kastvolume. In de praktijk merk je hier niets van. Ik heb ze in een aantal opstellingen geprobeerd, en de bas blijft punchy en gaat echt diep waar nodig. Ook goed: je kunt de Sensitivity en LF/HF Shelving aanpassen aan je studio-omgeving. Een echte aanrader voor kleine- en middelgrote studio's. En ze zien er natuurlijk fantastisch uit!

De geluidskwaliteit van deze monitoren is erg goed. laten genoeg detail horen om je opname te editen naar professioneel geluidsniveau. Ook om muziek mee te luisteren erg fijne speakers. Ondanks de 13 cm woofer creëren ze een goed vol laag. Ik ben er erg tevreden mee en de uiteindelijke prestatie is beter dan verwacht. Ik gebruik ze voor mijn stemopname te verbeteren en videobewerking en daar zijn ze zeer geschikt voor. Buiten dit om luister ik soms muziek en speel er een game mee en ook daarvoor zijn ze zeer goed. Mooie upgrade en een toffe allrounder.
