Even though the iG1T speaker by dB Technologies is the smallest model in the Ingenia series, it has two 6.5-inch woofers and can deliver an output of 400 Watts RMS and an SPL of 128 dB. Its cleverly-positioned DSP engine and line-array configuration contribute to achieve these impressive numbers. Daisy-chain multiple iG1Ts together for a line-array with a larger range than a standard speaker could muster. All in all, this speaker may be small in size, but big in performance!

dB Technologies iG1T: Setting Up

To get optimal results from the DSP engine, dB Technologies have provided this speaker with an interactive user interface. Choose between a number of settings that include speaker only or a sub/speaker combination. Once you've selected the configuration, the iG1T will set itself up! If there are any other speakers from the Ingenia range, they'll be automatically detected. Naturally, you can also adjust the parameters as desired and save your ideal parameter settings in one of the available user presets. Finally, keep the unit updated at all times with the latest firmware using the USB port.

Ingenia Series

Speakers from the Ingenia series, including this iG1T, were designed to unleash a revolution in the audio world. The DSP engine makes it easy to use multiple speakers at once via infra-red connection, so other speakers from the same series are detected automatically. The DSP takes it from there to ensure an optimal setup. This means essentially that a stack of Ingenia speakers can be operated as a single unit; all you need to do it provide it with power and an audio signal. On the rear, there are jack/XLR combo line and microphone inputs.
