The Opera 710 DX is one of the entry-level models from the Opera DX line by dB Technologies. For more than a decade, the Opera series has been a success story. The DX 700 series is the newest chapter, and with the 710 DX, dB Technologies once again offers you a quality product with a great price. The 710 DX has a great sound, thanks to the 10-inch woofer and 1-inch driver. Furthermore, the 710 is suited for a variety of applications from listening to music to amplifying smaller live shows. The 710 DX makes a great combination with a subwoofer, such as the Sub 15D by dB Technologies, if you want those deep low frequencies.

The technological side of the Opera 710 DX

Along with the 700W Digipro G2 amplifier, the Opera 710 DX also has a 15-inch woofer and a 1-inch driver. The dispersion of the 512 DX amounts to 80/65 x 60 degrees, and comes out of an asymmetrical CD horn. This means that the higher frequencies can be projected quite broadly from a short distance, as well as quite far. Furthermore, the frequency response ranges from 61 to 20,000 Hz at -10 dB, and the maximum sound pressure that the 710 DX can produce is 127 dB (SPL). Finally, the 710 DX has both an XLR and a 6.3mm jack signal input and output.

The exterior

This black speaker is made of polypropylene, which makes the Opera 710 DX less susceptible to unsightly scratches, and has the added bonus of being lightweight - only 11.6 kg in this case. Because the 710 DX active speaker is equipped with a built-in 35mm stand adapter, it can also be easily mounted on a stand.
