Characterised by versatility and 400 Watts of peak power, the Samson RS115A is a solid 2-way active speaker that can be deployed for a wide range of applications. The RS115A features a bi-amped design, meaning the high and lower frequencies it produces are driven by two different amplifiers. Next to a USB port for hooking up a wireless microphone from Samson's XPD Series, the unit comes equipped with a standard instrument/mic line input and a Bluetooth receiver, making it flexible enough for karaoke backing tracks, solo performances and music playback.

On board, you'll find a 15" woofer and a 2.5" voice coil that combine to shape bright highs, punchy mids and a tight low end. The two XLR/stereo jack inputs are backed up by a compressor and a switch for toggling between the microphone and line input, and it's even possible to link up an extra speaker using the XLR output. Prepared for life on the road, the RS115A is housed in a polypropylene cabinet finished with a protective metal grille and, thanks to its versatile design, can also serve as a floor monitor. Via the 3/8" mount on the bottom of the unit, the speaker can be secured onto a speaker stand with ease.
