General
The Arena 8 is a two-way passive speaker with an 8-inch woofer, that features a 1.5-inch voice coil for the low frequencies and a 1-inch tweeter with PTC driver protection for the high frequencies. The speaker can take up to 200 Watts RMS, and produces a maximum sound pressure of 122 dB (SPL). The Arena 8 is delivered with a protective cover. Additionally, the Arena 8 features M8 mounting points with screw threads for mounting a speaker cabinet with, for example, eyebolts on chains, or ropes.
For the high tones, the Arena 8 has a rotatable high-frequency horn for constant dispersion. Through the rotating of the horn, this directivity can be adjusted, regardless of whether the speaker is set up vertically or horizontally. Thanks to the multifunctional housing, this speaker can also be used as a floor monitor, satellite speaker in combination with subwoofers, or as a full-range system on speaker stands.
