Doosje met de subwooferstand werd de dag na bestelling kostenloos afgeleverd aan huis. De onderdelen pasten vlot in elkaar, nog geen vijf minuten nodig. De handleiding vertelt niet wat er wel op Youtube te zien was: de merknaam moet naar de luisteraar gericht worden. De filmpjes op internet vertellen het technische verhaal.
De subwoofer op de stand gezet. Daarmee is het ding ongeveer 10 cm van de grond, wat er voor zorgt dat de bassen minder gauw via de vloer de kamer in gaan. De ontkoppeling doet de rest. De bas is strak.
Een week later bestelde ik er nog twee. Geen pakketje waarin er twee zitten, maar twee losse. Ik wilde ze onder mijn vloerstaande speakers hebben, die hoeven niet hoger of onder een hoek te staan. Twee losse zijn goedkoper dan het duo met extra staafjes om de hoogte te kunnen veranderen.
Het geluid van mijn hele systeem werd wat "losser" in de zin van ruimtelijker. En dat is wat waard!
Als audiofiel heb ik wel duurdere tweaks uitgeprobeerd. Deze beïnvloedt de muziek in ieder geval positief.
Liever had ik de versie besteld die er mooier uitzag, met alu-onderstel en een houten voetje. (Ook bij Bax shop te koop, wel duurder.) Die was voor speakers tot 15 kg. Mijn speakers wegen 26 kg. Daarom toch voor deze plastic variant gekozen Speakers zijn wel iets hoger nu, die 10 cm zorgen ervoor dat de tweeter net iets te hoog komt, voor het mooie. Desalniettemin:
Blij mee.
(Als je kinderen hebt, dan wel oppassen. De speakers staan los op de stand. Als je ertegenaan loopt, heb je kans dat ze vallen.)

De "onderzetter" was zeer snel in elkaar gezet. Ik moest wel de poten van de sub er af schroeven en dan past hij goed. Het geluid van de sub is duidelijk sterker dan zonder stand.
This is a great subwoofer stand that definitely helps with overall bass quality and definition.
The reason that I have given it 4 rather than 5 stars is that the base and feet position is fixed cannot be adjusted.
This means that if your subwoofer has feet they *might* not align. My Dali E9F just about fits on, with a couple of the feet balancing on the very edge of the stand (I tried removing the feet but they seem fixed on). It sounds a fine, it just means that if it gets a knock I'll have to position it again and it's a bit awkward. But, worth it anyway in term of improving bass? Absolutely.
