Hohner harmonicas are made mostly by hand in Germany, and are still tuned completely manually by filing down the brass reeds which are mounted to the nickel reed plate. According to Hohner, the human ear is far more capable of detecting accurate tuning than a machine is. This harmonica is tuned to the key of F and played in cross harp style with music in the key of C. It offers the typical diatonic harmonica sound but with a powerful, pure tone thanks to the aluminium comb. The chrome-plated covers are lovely to hold and give this 10.5 cm-long instrument a smooth, sleek appearance..
