General
Smashing together the traditional and the modern, the classically shaped alder body of the ESP LTD AP-4 bass comes mounted with a set of active and anything-but-vintage EMG pickups. The whole thing has been dipped in a mean Candy Apple Red Satin paint-job which contrasts with the brushed-black pickguard, black Grover machines heads and black Babicz bridge to satisfying effect, while the playability is just as tight thanks to an ebony fretboard with a flat and fluid 15.75 inch radius and the lighter feel of twenty-one extra-jumbo frets. Sonically elastic and built for high performance, this muscle-car of a bass is as classic yet reliable as they get.

I purchased this ESP-LTD Bass and I must say that the overall quality is very good . Neck and bridge active pickups are very punchy, the sustain is impressive thanks to top end high mass Babicz aluminium bridge, which is a real plus. ( most of the time Babicz bridges can be found as upgrade retrofit solutions in the aftermarket). This bridge makes miracles in terms of sound. Height of the strings can be easily adjusted as well .
At this price tag this bass
is equivalent or even better of some US made jazz basses. Sound is definitely better. I strongly recommend this product.
Also, BAX MUSIC ships the guitar in well protected double carton box with thick carton layers. No worry if you order by post and live far away .
