Wat vind ik de 40th Anniversary van Squier toch een mooie serie gitaren. En ze klinken en spelen ook prima. Wel even de afwerking controleren bij aanschaf. De ene Squier gitaar is de andere niet, maar heb je een goeie/nette te pakken, dan is het genieten. Deze zwarte uitvoering met gouden hardware, block inlays en witte binding heeft een bijzonder chique uitstraling. De gitaar voelt solide aan, de stemsleutels werken soepel en precies en hij klinkt gewoon zoals je mag verwachten van een goede passieve precision. Het is eigenlijk jammer dat het maar een jaartje feest is. Hoewel, het maakt ze ook speciaal als ze over een tijdje niet meer nieuw te verkrijgen zijn.

Deze bas is echt te gek. Hij klinkt als een echte precision en laat zich eenvoudig en licht bespelen. De body en nek voelen stevig aan. De nek is relatief slank. Ik zou er niets aan willen veranderen. Mooier wordt het niet.
