Wincent drumsticks are the result of a special production process that involves a grindstone instead of a lathe. After they're given a smooth surface, the sticks are coated in a thin layer of wax to counter splintering. This pair of W-7AM drumsticks come in a standard size and feature a tear-drop tip. Perfect for lighter styles like jazz, these relatively slim sticks are made of maple to keep the weight down and the playability nice-and-supple.

Wincent: Swedish Quality

Wincent was founded in 1992 when Swedish drummer Dan Nylén was having some problems with his rods. He decided to make them himself in his garage with his father's help, who was a woodworker. He named the brand after his father's middle name, which was Wincent. The rods were only the beginning—there soon followed drum sticks and brushes of all types, with emphasis on durability and an ecologically-sustainable manufacturing process.
