Featuring a 10-ply European maple shell plus all of the perks that come with a PDP Drums design, the Concept Black Wax Maple snare responds with more-than satisfying clarity and definition. This edition features a 10 inch diameter and 6 inch depth, giving it a bright and more direct yet warmer sound, and comes finished in Satin Black with an extra wax seal coating that allows the wood grain to show through. Kitted out with DW True Pitch Tension Rods that feature an extra 50 screw threads per square inch, the tuning system on this snare boosts the accuracy, precision and control. This model also comes with a TB105 Tom Mounting Bracket so it can easily be secured to an L-rod to serve as a side-snare.
