As you probably know, cajons feature a set of snare wires mounted behind the front plate, which give it its instantly recognisable sizzle. Without these snares, the cajon takes on a while different (but no less intriguing) sound. The CaSela Pro allows you to quickly switch between these two modes with its throwoff switch. Operating it is a piece of cake, and it allows you to add some variety to your percussion playing.

Ik ben erg blij met deze cajon, vanwege het geluid, maar ook vanwege de switch, waardoor je heel snel kunt schakelen naar een geluid zonder de snare. Ik vind het soms wat vermoeiend om continu de snare erbij te hebben en dit geeft de nodige afwisseling. Ook de achterkant van deze cajon kan bespeeld worden en dit geeft een opvallend goed geluid, dat wel een beetje lijkt op het geluid van een bongo.
