The Blackstar Studio 10 is a tube amp combo that needs to be heard to be believed. Despite its modest 10 watts, this 12-inch amplifier packs surprising power and has a quality of sound that legendary tales shall no doubt be written about. This version of the Blackstar Studio 10 has an utterly convincing, classic British, low-gain sound thanks to the EL34 tube in the power amp and the ECC83 in the preamp. The amplifier can be tweaked for a sultry, crunchy sound that, even when you cannot find a microphone, can be sent to a mixer in all its glory via the emulated output. This chic vintage-style tube amp comes complete with a footswitch included that can be used to activate and deactivate the preamp boost. If the Blackstar Studio 10 EL34 were to be tested alongside authentic classic amplifiers, you'd be hard pushed to pick it out.
