Prima basic plug, past in iedere banaan.

Le prix est dérisoire: 30 centimes, mais la qualité est a l'image du prix. Au raz des pâquerettes. Plastique de mauvaise qualité, serrage du câble sur 5mm de longueur seulement. La fiche est courte, ce qui ne rend pas facile la prise en main.

Je déconseille fortement ce produit.

In English - I bought eight of these plugs, four red and four black to help my brother-in-law with his rather old home stereo equipment.

I was disappointed with the design. The _only_ surface holding the wires in the plug is the small set screw. The wire cannot go farther inside that plug beyond that set screw. I thought from the photo I could pull the wire out of that larger hole but there's a wall inside the plug between that large hole and the set screw area.

I called BaxShop to ask about these plugs since they were all the same design and was informed that's the way they're supposed to be.

I asked, 'what's the large hole for'? I was told that's where you could insert another banana plug. Well, that's not true as I've tried and the hole is too small. Not only a bad design but a stupid design.

I suppose for 60 cents I shouldn't complain but I will never use those plugs again. The stereo banana plugs I used in the US had a built in strain relief and I _never_ had a wire come loose.
At any rate, as long as there is not extra strain placed upon the wire, it should work adequately.
