Audioquest Dragonfly Cobalt USB DA-converter
General
Barely any bigger than a USB stick, the Audioquest Dragonfly Cobalt turns your phone, tablet or computer into a high-end media player. If you're using a superior-grade set of headphones to listen to music via your phone, you're probably not getting the best possible audio quality. Lower frequencies are going to be missing punch while the mid and high frequencies lack detail. This simple little DAC bypasses the standard audio-chip of your mobile or tablet, sends the signal through a highly sophisticated (and highly regarded) ESS ES9038Q2M chip and converts it into an analogue signal. The teeny tiny 2.1 Volt ESS Sabre 9601 amplifier, having already proved itself with the Dragonfly Red, effortlessly drives the most demanding models of headphones. The Dragonfly Cobalt comes with a USB to USB-C adapter included.

Very impressed with the results and cheaper than competitor websites. A noticeable difference in the clarity of music compared with using the jack alone, highly recommended for audiophiles and anyone wishing to get the most from their music platform or headphones.
