Construction and layout of the MPC Renaissance
The MPC Renaissance has been designed to offer full compatibility with your computer. In essence, it serves as a drum pad and rotary controller in one, featuring a practical LCD display and various menu settings for increased user-friendliness. The Renaissance allows you to use the processing power of your computer by means of a hardware controller, enabling you to enjoy that old-school drum machine feel. As such, the controller is great for electronic music producers, as well as DJs who are gradually using more and more digital technology.
MPC possibilities
Since the 1990s, the term MPC has achieved a legendary status. Numerous producers all over the world use Akai's MPC products, due to their excellent construction and practical layout. With the MPC Renaissance, however, Akai has really surpassed itself. It's not just a controller, but is equipped with an internal audio interface, two combined XLR/jack inputs, a turntable input and two outputs. A USB connector ensures a quick connection to your computer, while a built-in USB hub provides for all your USB studio gear.

Zeker een geweldig product. Gebruik hem ruim 5 jaar
Pros:
Super workflow,
Samplen en choppen duurt maar 1 a 2 minuten als je het door hebt.
Goeie filters, compressie en efects.
Gratis audio- interface, werkt super met andere programa's op het gebied van line-in's mic-ins en phono-in's
Kwalietijd materiaal (denk dat je er je leven me kan)
Cons:
Let op bij het kopen dat je 99 euro meer nodig hebt voor de nieuwe software.
Ook heb je een DAW nodig naast de MPC voor je vocals.
Je kan hem door lussen naar andere DAW's maar is te veel moeite vaak. (tenzij je rewire hebt)
Ook is er niet een super ondersteuning voor externe plugin's.
