With its characteristic single cutaway, the warm Dark Brown Sunburst finish, the abalone body bindings and fretboard inlays, and 3x 3 tuners, this guitar is one hell of a looker. Ibanez ARZIR20FB: features
The body of this guitar is made of mahogany and produces a warm, deep sound. The top is made of flamed bubinga, with a nicely visible wood pattern. The body has a set-in ARZ neck and with its smooth heel, you'll easily reach the highest frets. This is ideal for shredders. The ebony fretboard provides a tight tone and makes fingering with the left hand very easy. One striking feature is the gold-coloured hardware: the TOM bridge with tailpiece is rock-solid.
Pickups and tuners
The ARZIR20FBDBS is equipped with a very powerful pickup duo, the EMG 60 and the EMG 81. The EMG 60, placed at the neck, provides a high output with a traditionally fat sound. Boosted mids, wide bass lines and high trebles, this active humbucker can do it all. The EMG 81 can be found at the bridge and is active as well and takes care of a focused, powerful sound with a smooth sustain. The locking machine heads keep the strings in place and make sure that the strings retain their tuning.
