By means of Custom Bartolini pickups and a Power Curve III 3-band equalizer, Ibanez gives you full control of the sound of the SR4006E-SOL. The neck of this 6-string bass guitar will remain perfectly straight as it's been reinforced with two highly reliable KTS titanium neck pins. You can tell this guitar belongs to the Prestige series because it has some impressive details such as the pearloid inlays and the medium frets that have been filed by hand.
Takes matters into your own hands
Because the SR4006E-SOL is fitted with the elaborate 3-band equalizer, you won't need an external rack or stompbox equalizer anymore. You can boost or cut each of the three frequencies (bass, middle and high) separately to make them more or less audible. There's also a bypass option and with the balance knob you can adjust the focus point of your equalizer settings.
Bartolini Custom pickups
The Bartolini pickups on this SR4006E aren't standard Bartolinis. Specially for Ibanez, Bartolini made a neck pickup that sounds extra deep and a bridge pickup with an even brighter sound than that of standard Bartolini pickups. This is why these are Customs, pickups that you'll only find on Ibanez bass guitars and which are not sold separately.
