Via this A4 HiFi system you can wirelessly stream music from your smartphone, tablet, iPod, PC or Mac. The A4 is the largest system in the SMA series and features a 4-inch subwoofer and a beautiful, full sound. Audio is streamed from your device via the Wi-Fi network. The Wi-Fi signal travels through walls and provides great transmissions over a longer distance. It is possible to link multiple SMA speakers. These can all be separately controlled by means of the Control App.

A4: Wi-Fi and Wireless Direct
Audio is streamed to Pioneer's A4 via a Wi-Fi network. If there isn't a wireless network near that you can log into, the Pioneer A4 can function as a Wi-Fi wireless access point (Wireless Direct), allowing you to connect your device to the speaker over a maximum distance of 100 metres. There are several ways to stream audio to the Pioneer A4: AirPlay, Direct Connect or DLNA (1.5). Nearly any PC, laptop or smartphone is equipped with DLNA.

Sublime sound and Internet radio
Thanks to its 4-inch woofer, the A4 has a fuller sound than the A1 and A3. As such, the A4 is powerful enough to be used in your living room. The sound of the A4 has been optimised by Andrew Jones, Pioneer's 'Chief Speaker Engineer', who is responsible for some of the world's best speakers. The integrated vTuner Internet Radio functionality gives you access to more than 10,000 Internet radio stations.
