Seagull Artist Mosaic CW Folk QII electro-acoustic guitar
General
The Canadian guitars by Seagull are designed to offer musicians on a relatively limited budget a high-quality guitar made with excellent materials. The Seagull Artist Mosaic CW Folk is one such quality electro-acoustic guitar, which features a cutaway and built-in electronics.
Seagull Artist Mosaic CW Folk QII: compact and striking
Because this guitar is a folk model, it has a smaller body that produces a warm, full sound. The mids are quite prominent with the CW Folk QII, creating an experience for fingerpickers that is akin to soaking in a warm musical bubble bath. Furthermore, this guitar is made of a number of different solid woods. Cedar was used for the top, while the sides and back are made of mahogany, and rosewood was chosen for the fretboard and bridge.
Rugged parts: optimal tone
The string nut and bridge saddle are both made from Tusq, which is a synthetic self-lubricating material produced by Graph Tech that helps reduce string friction so your strings won't break as easily. Together with the solid wood construction, this means you can enjoy a warm, open tone absent of shrillness. The small body size only accentuates that. Finally, the refined Godin EPM Quantum II preamp module consists of an electret microphone and a built-in pickup so you always get the best sound.
