The Harmony-G XT is the latest and greatest upgrade of the well-known TC Helicon pedal. Its NaturalPlay function, which is how you can use a guitar signal to play harmonies, has been enhanced. To tighten up the complete mix, TC Helicon have added a dynamic harmony gate to the Tone function as well as styles and a top-notch reverb from the VoiceLive 2. The selection of four overdub doubling effects has been expanded on with two extra doubling voices and the effects presets have been adjusted to facilitate even more musical styles.

To make the versatility of this device even greater, those who don't play an instrument or who are being accompanied by wind performers can choose a scale or tone manually. Using the USB port, you can easily install software updates and save presets with the help of the VoiceSupport software.

The standard functions of the new-and-improved Harmony-G XT haven't changed. It listens to the signal of a connected guitar and your voice and automatically plays the correct harmonies in a third or fifth tone above and under, an octave higher or lower, or as a bass interval.

The Tone function of this pedal is a signal processor that improves vocals so your voice sounds clear and free of clipping or peaks, hums and plosives. There are eighteen different effects combinations at your disposal, including reverb, delay and modulations.

When you find a setting you like, you can save it as a preset. There are ten user presets available, each with an A and a B option, for a total of twenty! You can also connect your computer to the Harmony-G XT via USB and make a backup of your settings.

On the rear, there are two jack outputs for a mono signal (left) and a signal without effects (right). In stereo mode, the effects signal is sent through the left and the right outputs. The microphone signal is amplified by means of a high-quality preamp with phantom power. Last but not least, it even has a built-in tuner!
