The innovative Nuvo DooD 2.0 wind instrument has a similar sound to a clarinet but has the same, easier fingering as a recorder. Just like a clarinet, the DooD 2.0 is played with a reed and, so you're all sorted straight out of the box, Nuvo has included a pack of two durable plastic reeds. When the included reeds wear out, you can simply replace them with standard Eb clarinet reeds. This unique instrument features chromatic tuning in C and covers a whole octave while the body has been made from hygienic and waterproof plastic that's easily cleaned and maintained.

I know it’s marketed as a children’s instrument… but as an adult musician (never a wood wind player), I’ve had a wonderful time learning how to play this instrument. It’s really easy to learn and I prefer its tone to a recorder’s. It has quite a small range (C’-D’’) which limits what you can play on it, but I give it 5 stars because it’s a great price for a lot of fun.
