General
Meinl made this guiro of wood with an amber-coloured finish, and fitted it with three different playing surfaces. With the included wooden scraper, the guiro has a well-defined, warm sound that can cut through the mix with ease. Thanks to the two finger holes, you can hold the instrument quite comfortably as you play. All in all, it's a great accessory for any singer, percussionist or drummer.

Prachtige gelakte guiro met een mooie volle klank. Dat komt voor een deel door de vingergaten waarmee je hem ook nog goed vast kunt houden. Ik heb hem gekocht als extra percussie naast mijn drumstel. De bijgeleverde schraper ligt goed in de hand, ik denk zelf dat ik vaker een drumstok zal gebruiken. Maar hij kan ook door een van de andre bandleden gebruikt worden.
